CHARLEMAGNE MUSIC PUBLISHING is born out of Charlemagne Productions Ltd, the production company of "Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross", symphonic metal album featuring the late legendary actor Sir Christopher Lee in the vest of singer and narrator. The album has attracted over 20 million viewers and plays in excess of 10 million.
The album, whose music is by international composer Marco Sabiu, has been very well received, leading Christopher Lee to win the 2010 Golden Gods Award - presented to him at London's O2 by Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi.
More Christopher Lee's Charlemagne saga albums have been released, check the Charlemagne Productions' page!
More success stories of CHARLEMAGNE MUSIC PUBLISHING are Marco Sabiu's solo album "Sabiu No.7", reaching no 1 in iTunes classical charts (February 2011), then remaining in the Top 10 for over three weeks; and his second album "Audio Ergo Sum" - featuring Yes' singer Jon Anderson as special guest - again in the iTunes Top 10 and played in almost its entirety on Italian live TV.
Mr Sabiu has also written the soundtrack of the Italian blockbuster movie "Il ricco, il povero e il maggiordomo".
Our compositions are regularly used in TVs, radios, documentaries, and live.
